Decided to participate?

Not sure what type of bird you’re seeing? The Cornell Lab of Ornithology has a Merlin Bird ID application that can be downloaded to your iPhone or Android phone. The app prompts you with five simple questions in order to help you identify birds. If you decide to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count, and would like to share your sightings, please email christi.powers@gmail.com. We will post some of your reports later this month. Meanwhile, with a colder than average winter this year our feathered friends can use our help. Stock up on birdseed now and attract more birds for your very own backyard bird count.
